Welcome to the website of the Institute of Economic Policy of Leibniz University Hanover. The institute includes the professorships for Economics, in particular Applied Economic Policy and Economics with a focus on Innovation. Evidence-based Economic Policy lays at the heart of the research programme and the course offerings. Current impulses and results from research are communicated to a broad public through the work of the Center for Economic Policy Studies (CWS) and the Corporate Panel Research.

Prof. Dr. Stefan Homburg geht nach 24 Jahren an der Leibniz Universität Hannover in den Ruhestand

Die Wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Fakultät verabschiedet am 31. März 2021 Prof. Dr. Stefan Homburg in den Ruhestand.

Prof. Homburg ist seit 01.04.1997 Direktor des Instituts für Öffentliche Finanzen der Leibniz Universität Hannover. Von 1999 bis 2007 bekleidete Prof. Homburg das Amt des Dekans der Wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Fakultät und war darüber hinaus von 2003 bis 2005 Mitglied des Senats der Leibniz Universität Hannover.

Wir wünschen Prof. Homburg für den neuen, nun vor ihm liegenden Lebensabschnitt Gesundheit und alles Gute.
