Prerequisites - Introductory course to academic research - Formal guidelines - General Literature - Basic literature to introduce each topic - Methodology Preferred quantitative-empirical analysis Specialised software - Recommended word processing software - Length of term paper - Meeting(s) to discuss outline - Performance requirements / evaluation Own presentation in the doctoral seminar and active participation in the discussion Examiner Prof. Dr. Stephan L. Meier Group Assignments and Topics Group assignment - Group size - Group formation - Topics Within the doctoral seminar on economic policy, current and prospective doctoral students present their own research project on a (preferably) economic policy issue (e.g. unemployment, education, migration, innovation promotion, etc.) and discuss it with the other seminar participants. The focus is on quantitative-empirical work.
